2025 Football Re-Signings

Coach Shep has made the first re-signings for the 2025 season! Chris Verboon, Darcy Atkins, and Cody Loughridge have all signed on to return in maroon and white.

Each player has an impressive track record and an exceptional work ethic. They consistently demonstrate mental and physical toughness, along with a high level of technical skill.

Chris ‘Dredge’ Verboon is a seasoned veteran with over 200 games for Stony Creek. After coaching the team for the past two seasons, Dredge brings invaluable experience and leadership. He was also Stony’s equal leading goal kicker for the 2024 season.

Darcy Atkins is a three-time club Best and Fairest and 2019 League Best and Fairest winner at SCFNC. His tenacity and work ethic make him a formidable presence in the midfield. Darcy’s competitive spirit and sportsmanship are remarkable assets to our senior team and the club.

Cody ‘Coco’ Loughridge was the 2023 Best and Fairest winner for our club. His tackling prowess makes him a daunting opponent in the midfield. Cody’s integrity, reliability, and adaptability are invaluable to both the team and the club.
